Pongal festival

For January, i went for a pongal celebration at Ayer Hitam.
with Prasana~ ♥
Well, the sky doesn’t like my idea of celebrate Pongal i guess…
HE pours water to the land when we departure from Prasana’s aunt's house. Haiz… we were so well dressed and there comes the rain! ish~~~

We reached the hall near by the temple there for this activity. its still raining.  Nevertheless, people still prepare and stand by a pot for this event. We got the further end from the gate, but near to the hall. We tried to lit fire to cook the milk after a speech by the people from MPS and the ketua kampung there.

Its not easy to lit fire on a wet wood, luckily ours weren’t that wet… We waited for the milk to boil out from the pot, according to Prasana’s mother, if it pours out to the east, it means good fortune. but….but….. ours 1 juz dont wanna boil out from the pot!

Then, rice, raisin, nut, and red sugar is added~this is the time to let the rice to be cooked. it takes quite a long time…. However, the outcome was nice!!! ^^ I like it.

This is Malaysia, we can join alot of different culture activities from different races… Ah! I love Malaysia~~ ♥ ^^

不知道这句话可不可能呢？ 哈哈
