Lights within

Quoted:
Bhante asked what is the most important thing for us... we got many answers, education, heart, but he said the most important thing is health.
He said we youngsters have taken for granted the youth and health we have now. We worked too hard by trading our health for achievements. For some of us, the effects/consequences already appeared, eating disorder, stomach digestion problems, hands and feet ache during cold weathers... etc...
he said as girls, you all need to take care of yourselves during period/menstruation, make preparations for it, to sooth the pain and not let it affect your overall health.
And he also said not to bath late at night, and not to bath right before sleep, coz you will take the "dampness" with you onto bed, when you get older you will feel the health consequences

WE control live

_DSC0619

At a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what’s happening to us,
and our lives become controlled by fate. That’s the world’s greatest lie.

-Paulo Coelho [The Alchemist]

but, before we control our live,

Breathe deeply and appreciate the moment.
Living in the moment could be the meaning of life.

the {me} they’re talking about…

safari (70)

Your view on yourself:

You are intelligent, honest and sweet. You are friendly to everybody and don't like conflict. Because you're so cheerful and fun people are naturally attracted to you and like to talk to you.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.

The seriousness of your love:

You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.

Your views on education

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:

You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:

You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:

You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you.

Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You desire a love that will last forever. You are quite serious about finding this type of love, and that's why you think carefully about the men that you meet before deciding whether you could really love them. You don't just develop a crush on someone overnight: you look at a person's personality and other aspects of their life before deciding to form an attachment. If a guy doesn't meet your expectations, you would rather be alone. Your love has to be perfect. Be careful though, you could be missing out on some worthy relationships because your standards are so high.

Zoo Music

系'how to forget someone'... ”

但当你输入到'how to F O R G' 嘅时候...
搜寻器会自动弹出一句'how to forgive yourself'....

A personality test - result

Portrait of the ENFP - Keirsey's Champion

Like the other Idealists, Champions are rather rare, say three or four percent of the population, but even more than the others they consider intense emotional experiences as being vital to a full life. Champions have a wide range and variety of emotions, and a great passion for novelty. They see life as an exciting drama, pregnant with possibilities for both good and evil, and they want to experience all the meaningful events and fascinating people in the world. The most outgoing of the Idealists, Champions often can't wait to tell others of their extraordinary experiences. Champions can be tireless in talking with others, like fountains that bubble and splash, spilling over their own words to get it all out. And usually this is not simple storytelling; Champions often speak (or write) in the hope of revealing some truth about human experience, or of motivating others with their powerful convictions. Their strong drive to speak out on issues and events, along with their boundless enthusiasm and natural talent with language, makes them the most vivacious and inspiring of all the types.

Fiercely individualistic, Champions strive toward a kind of personal authenticity, and this intention always to be themselves is usually quite attractive to others. At the same time, Champions have outstanding intuitive powers and can tell what is going on inside of others, reading hidden emotions and giving special significance to words or actions. In fact, Champions are constantly scanning the social environment, and no intriguing character or silent motive is likely to escape their attention. Far more than the other Idealists, Champions are keen and probing observers of the people around them, and are capable of intense concentration on another individual. Their attention is rarely passive or casual. On the contrary, Champions tend to be extra sensitive and alert, always ready for emergencies, always on the lookout for what's possible.

Champions are good with people and usually have a wide range of personal relationships. They are warm and full of energy with their friends. They are likable and at ease with colleagues, and handle their employees or students with great skill. They are good in public and on the telephone, and are so spontaneous and dramatic that others love to be in their company. Champions are positive, exuberant people, and often their confidence in the goodness of life and of human nature makes good things happen.

People naturally confide in the Champion (ENFP). That's why they make such good mediators, counselors, teachers, consultants, and reporters. Any position that outreaches to others can fit the Champion. They can be columnists, journalists, publicists, copy writers, advertising account executives. In the arts they can be character actors, cartoonists, art educators. If they choose jobs such as restaurateur, be sure that their business sites will be unique and designed for a particular type of customer. Don't be surprised to see them as an inventor. This type of personality wants to experience the whole of life and may change careers more often than many other types. Says Charles, "I've had a number of jobs and when there is nothing left to create, I move to something new. I want my life to be spiced with newness, love, and joy."

no bake cheesecake

i got this from the website… bcs suddenly i felt like eating it… >.<
http://www.mybakingaddiction.com/no-bake-cheesecake/

No bake cheesecake a.k.a. easy deliciousness. One of the few co-workers of mine that knows of my blog asked me about a “thick, fluffy, creamy cheesecake…like the kind you get at Mediterranean diners.” I had absolutely no idea what she was taking about. I love Mediterranean food, but never order dessert from my favorite place…I order hummus…I love hummus! Also loving a challenge, I hit up twitter…if you follow me, you may remember me posing this question. If you don’t follow me, please do so, that way you can assist with my cooking conundrums in the future…believe me, I have many of them! My twEATers didn’t really have answers, so I turned to my good friend, google!

The google search also left me sort of empty handed and I decided to just get in the kitchen and whip something up loosely following a recipe from allrecipes. I quickly snapped a couple of photos with my iphone and sent them to her. She responded and said it looked very similar…needless to say I was quite happy that it at least somewhat mimicked her description. Unfortunately, Danielle never got to taste the cheesecake to make the comparison, but I am sure she will try whipping up this easy recipe in the future! In my opinion, the result was pretty damn good. Thick? Check! No Bake? Check! Fluffy? Check! Creamy? Oh yeah! I felt as though this was a successful dessert and will definitely make it again. Have a fabulous day, thanks so much for stopping by! No Bake Cheesecake
Ingredients
1 1/2 cup finely ground graham cracker crumbs
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons white sugar

12 ounces cream cheese; room temperature
1/3 cup plus 3 tablespoons *vanilla sugar (see notes below)
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped

Method
1. In a bowl, mix together the graham crackers with melted butter and the 3 tablespoons sugar.
2. Press into a *6 inch springform pan (botton and sides). Place in refrigerator until ready for use.
3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/3 cup plus 3 TBS of vanilla sugar.
4. Whip cream, and fold into cream cheese mixture.
5. Spread into pan.
6. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
7. Top with fruit topping and enjoy.

*Notes: I made vanilla sugar using 2 1/2 pounds regular sugar and 2 vanilla bean pods. I mixed the sugar and vanilla bean pods in a sugar canister and let the flavors meld for a couple of weeks. Give it it a stir every so often and add more sugar as you use you supply! This easy concoction is awesome in coffee, sprinkled on berries or cereal! If you do not have vanilla sugar, use regular sugar and simply add a teaspoon on pure vanilla extract to the batter.

I used a 6 inch springform because I wanted a thick cheesecake, if you use a larger pan, your cheesecake will obviously be thinner than the one pictured

Novel_Cover___Close_friend_by_Hylas

图片:deviantart_hylas

不认同 --> 12

Result

street_bicycle 之前在《普门》里看到了很有感想的文章。
